Article 3 – Applicability

These Terms and Conditions apply to every offer and distance contract concluded between the Entrepreneur and Consumer.

Before a distance contract is concluded, these Terms will be made available to the Consumer free of charge. If this is not reasonably possible, the Consumer will be informed where the Terms can be accessed electronically or sent upon request.

In the case of electronic contracts, the Terms will be provided in a way that the Consumer can easily store them on a durable medium. Additional terms for specific products or services shall also apply where relevant. In case of conflicting provisions, the most favorable interpretation for the Consumer will apply.

Article 4 – The Offer

The offer includes a complete and accurate description of the products and/or services. Visuals used by the Entrepreneur shall represent the products truthfully. Any errors do not bind the Entrepreneur.

It will clearly state:

  • If the offer is time-limited.
  • The rights and obligations related to acceptance of the offer.

Article 5 – The Agreement

The contract is concluded once the Consumer accepts the offer and meets the stipulated conditions.

For electronic orders, the Entrepreneur shall:

  • Confirm receipt of the order without delay.
  • Use secure systems for data transmission and online payments.
  • Retain the right to assess the Consumer’s ability to meet payment obligations and decline an order with justification.

Upon conclusion of the agreement, the Entrepreneur shall provide:

  • Contact information for inquiries or complaints.
  • Information on the right of withdrawal.
  • After-sales service and guarantees.
  • The standard withdrawal form.

Article 6 – Right of Withdrawal

The Consumer has the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days without stating a reason.

The reflection period begins:

  • From the day the Consumer or a designated third party receives the product.
  • For multiple items: the day the last product is received.
  • For scheduled deliveries: the day the first product is received.

Article 7 – Consumer Obligations During the Reflection Period

During this period, the Consumer shall handle the product and packaging with care, only to the extent needed to assess the product.

If the product is devalued due to excessive handling, the Consumer may be liable for the diminished value unless the Entrepreneur failed to provide information about the withdrawal right.

Article 8 – Exercising the Right of Withdrawal

The Consumer shall notify the Entrepreneur clearly (preferably via the withdrawal form) within the reflection period.

The Consumer must return the product within 14 days of this notification unless the Entrepreneur offers to collect it. The product must be returned in original condition and packaging.

The Consumer bears the return cost unless stated otherwise.

Article 9 – Entrepreneur’s Obligations in Case of Withdrawal

Upon withdrawal:

  • The Entrepreneur shall confirm receipt of the withdrawal (if submitted electronically).
  • Refund all payments (excluding any extra delivery charges) within 14 days, after the return is received or proof of return is provided.

Refunds are made using the same payment method unless agreed otherwise.

Article 10 – Prices

  • Prices are valid for the duration stated in the offer.
  • VAT-inclusive pricing applies unless the Consumer is outside the EU, in which case VAT may be excluded based on the delivery location.
  • Price changes are only allowed if due to tax/legal changes or agreed variable pricing.

Article 11 – Compliance and Extra Guarantees

Products must comply with the agreement, product descriptions, and legal regulations.

An additional warranty (beyond legal rights) does not limit statutory guarantees. It includes any voluntary promises by the Entrepreneur or manufacturer.

Note:

  • Map veneer layers may shift by up to 1mm due to the natural materials used.
  • Wood curvature and slight burnt wood odor may occur due to laser cutting.
  • Soot on map edges is normal and does not affect quality.

Article 12 – Delivery and Execution

The Entrepreneur takes care in processing and delivering orders.

Unless otherwise agreed, delivery shall occur within 30 days. Delays or incomplete orders entitle the Consumer to cancel the contract free of charge.

The risk of damage or loss passes to the Consumer upon delivery, unless agreed otherwise.

Force majeure exempts both parties from contractual liability.

Article 13 – Complaints Procedure

Complaints must be submitted clearly and promptly after discovering defects.

The Entrepreneur will:

  • Acknowledge complaints within 14 days.
  • Provide an expected resolution timeline if more time is needed.
